MEDIWISH · Sterilization monitoring
Explore the listed steam integrating strips and moving-front integrator. Compare the exact reference, stated operating conditions and result interpretation.
| Format / role | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Type 5 / integrating | The steam integrator’s specified use conditions and reading method. |
| Type 6 / emulating | The specified steam cycle and the matching product instructions. |
| Biological monitoring | Process-specific system, instructions and any required reader/incubation arrangement. |
Integrating indicators respond to specified steam process conditions. A Type 5 chemical result does not replace biological monitoring or the facility’s other required controls, and does not independently demonstrate sterility.
Use the selected integrator’s own reading method, including its endpoint or moving-front scale where applicable. Assess the result within the facility’s complete monitoring procedure.
