The Mediwish MZS500 is a benchtop constant-heat sealing machine designed to close compatible medical sterilization pouches and reel material before processing. It provides a maximum sealing length of 500 mm, a 10 mm-wide heat seal and an integrated cutting knife for preparing packaging from reels.
The adjustable temperature range of 60–220 °C allows the operator to select suitable sealing conditions for compatible polypropylene, polyethylene, paper/PP and heat-sealable Tyvek® packaging. The actual setting must always be based on the packaging manufacturer’s specified sealing window.

The MZS500 is packaging equipment and does not sterilize instruments. The sealed package must be compatible with the intended sterilization process. Does the MZS500 sterilize medical instruments?
No. The machine only cuts and heat-seals compatible packaging. Sterilization is performed separately using a validated process appropriate for the selected packaging and medical device.
Which sealing temperature should be used?
The correct temperature depends on the packaging structure, sealing layer and manufacturer’s instructions. The machine’s 60–220 °C range is its operating capability, not one universal setting for every pouch.
Can the MZS500 seal Tyvek® packaging?
The listed compatible materials include Tyvek®. Only packaging structures supplied with a suitable heat-seal layer should be used, and the selected conditions must be verified for the actual material.
