Os envelopes de papel kraft Mediwish são parte integrante do processo de esterilização final por ar (em temperaturas de esterilização de 160°C a 180°C) e vapor (em temperaturas de esterilização de 121°C a 134°C).
São embalagens de diversas larguras e comprimentos, constituídas por papel kraft (marrom claro) ou papel branqueado com resistência à umidade (branco), com densidade de 70-80 g/m², projetadas para embalar produtos de pequena espessura. Não permitem a penetração de microrganismos, desde que todas as regras de fechamento das embalagens, modos de esterilização, condições e períodos de armazenamento sejam observados. Mantêm a integridade após a esterilização e durante o transporte. São resistentes à umidade e podem ser facilmente descartados por incineração.
Os envelopes são hermeticamente fechados com uma fita autoadesiva, aplicada na aba do envelope. Têm formato de envelope retangular com duas costuras laterais coladas. Na parte saliente do verso do envelope (aba), é aplicada uma camada adesiva, protegida por papel antiaderente. Na frente da embalagem, há um indicador químico de classe 1 que permite distinguir as embalagens que foram esterilizadas daquelas que não foram.
É importante armazenar os envelopes de papel kraft seguindo as seguintes regras:

- garanta o armazenamento em condições secas;
- armazene na ausência de poeira;

A vida útil das embalagens, a partir da data de fabricação, é de 2 anos, desde que sejam armazenadas em temperaturas entre 10°C e 30°C e umidade relativa de 30-50%.
