Instructions for Use: Rapid Protein Residue Detection Test

Remove the swab from its cover.
Rub the swab firmly over the desired surface. If the surface is dry, moisten the swab with sterile or distilled water before rubbing it over the surface.
Unscrew the reagent tube and swirl the swab in the reagent. Visually check the color change of the swab head. Blue indicates the presence of protein residue on the sample. In the presence of higher protein amounts, solution will change to dark blue. Extended exposure of the swab in the solution enhances color development and ensures accurate diagnosis.
Record the test results in the RRS CSSD Documentation Notebook to maintain a comprehensive record of hygiene assessment.

Storage and Durability

To maintain the integrity of the Rapid Protein Residue Detection Test, store it in the refrigerator or at a temperature between 2-8 °C. Keep it away from sunlight, high temperatures, disinfectants, and chemical agents. The test has a durability of 24 months from date of production. Expiry date 6 months if non-refrigerated.
